An actor is not necessarily a voice actor
Surprising and great story. The buildup is a bit long, but worth it.
The voice performance is monotonous and it is not easy to follow who is actually speaking. I think there is another version with a different voice actor. I’d give that a try.
Additionally, I am not familiar with Chinese names which made it really hard in the beginning for me to follow the characters. Combining my challenge with the voice performance created a tiresome start of the book.

Love it - mind bloques!
Especially all the theoretical physics details, spur imagination. I loved listening to it and I am following through with the entire series.

The Reader makes the difference
I enjoyed it a lot more than watching the series. The story is deep, giving a clear picture of micro and macro emotions on earth. Different characters, different times, different worlds and Rosalind Chao is able to reflect them clearly with her great reading and voice.
